On The Move

These movements open up my body well and prepares me to start a work out or start a day!

Curl and Arch the spine with whole body coordinated can make you move very dynamic way.

Hanging on ARCHWAY™ . Legs are stable, yet the power coming from the legs to assist my spine.

This exercise helps opening my chest and shoulder and engages my back muscles. You can feel fascia arm lines. It feels very good to work on the back side of the body where the spine lies and be aware of the space behind you!

Gyrotonic hamstrings exercise. The femur touches bench, it helps hamstrings to engage and opening up the front side of the pelvis, The femur movement connects to the lower legs to the feet without losing the energy flow.

This exercise helps to engage back side of the body, like hamstrings and glutes to articulate arch of the back, and opening the front side of the body and sternum.

Canoeing movement stimulates around ribcage.

I can work with using surface tension by attaching my feet to the machine and hands to the Wingmaster. It helps whole body to stretch through tensegrity network and feels strengthening or restoring elasticity of body tissues.

In 2008, I choreographed and directed a 50min length show called "日常的Will” (Nichijouteki Will, it means Daily intensions.) 　(This "日常的Will" promotion video includes some images from other shows I choreographed and some of my student's works which fit well in the "daily intensions" sentiment aspect as well.)

Moving the spine like a wave motion, coordinated with breathing and the movement of the arms and the legs, it helps to stimulate and calms the nervous system. It really makes you feel good!
